The former had LOADS of baby plants, the latter had VERY few--very big difference from excluding those little, pesky cuties. =)

Planting in pots is probably a VERY wise way to do it. So far, I've not done that, but it might be a good idea, depending on the spp. Thanks for the note! And, btw, I love your blog. Such good stuff there! =)biobabblerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15081382623906668057noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3404084692895907783.post-39118807288118029522016-01-15T11:53:11.367-08:002016-01-15T11:53:11.367-08:00Aha! Little devils! I collected a bunch of wildflower seed this fall, including some milkweed. I plan to do some winter-sowing this weekend, but in containers for protection and easy ID. Hopefully I'll have so many seedlings in the spring I can give them away to friends too. :-) Jodihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14021568698690294831noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3404084692895907783.post-30120653092819703052016-01-13T11:35:30.085-08:002016-01-13T11:35:30.085-08:00Ah, phew! =) I'm very glad to hear it. Jerseydale), but it's NEVER OCCURRED to me to collect the seed. Very odd. I may hit you up for your pointers! =)biobabblerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15081382623906668057noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3404084692895907783.post-53336244683849845142016-01-13T11:33:43.273-08:002016-01-13T11:33:43.273-08:00Aw, thanks! If you ever want more seeds let me know and I'll give you pointers to some roadside populations along Triangle Road and Jerseydale Road.randomtruthhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01941027847362672057noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3404084692895907783.post-40088374383696042662016-01-12T11:21:00.484-08:002016-01-12T11:21:00.484-08:00Gardening is the best cure of them all!
