aspen attack

Yesterday afternoon we scoped out the aspen action
in the Mono Lake area in eastern California.

Today I walked into the above aspen forest,
surrounded by possibly the most beauty
I've ever experienced in one place at one time.

I took 6 big steps forward,
then lay on the dirt & leaves,
and stared up.

gah!

  2. And here I thought I was the only person who ever did this. Did you feel like the colors of the trees were somehow inside of you, too? That's the effect Fall has on me. Ahhhh......

    1. I felt like that amazing light was everywhere, including flowing right through & past me. And, of course, it smells lovely in there. Even the bark of those trees is super gorgeous, so I was really transported. HEAVEN!
