One day, 4 chickens...

We haven't gotten this many eggs in one day in MONTHS. Hello, longer, warmer spring days.

And you might guess from that container that we were down to none, so I'm psyched the girls are cranking again. I wasn't sure I was going to be able to get myself to actually PAY for eggs, much less the $5/box it takes for a dozen organic pups (which I require, as a conservation biologist, of course).

I intend to dedicate much of Sunday to cruising around heavily blooming areas, so hope to bring to you photos of happy flowers v. soon.

P.S. Having made two breakfasts, we are now back down to one egg. Better go feed the chickens.
