  6. woo-hoo! Yes, RAIN. Rain in San Diego. Uncommon thing in the land of 9" (ave.) per year. =)

    I don't think it hailed that day, that'd be really freaky for SD, but either way, it's precipitation. I've not seen that pattern on SD beaches very often...

  7. get on up to the north Oregon Coast then,,, I instantly recognized the rain pocked sand. 80"+ rain/yr. there.
