  1. I believe you are referring to the wattles? Sometimes it is called a caruncle or dewlap. Not sure what it means though

  10. well, either that hen is molting and her new feathers are still encased in a covering called a quill which tommy the crow would preen constantly as if they were itchy and that would work them off or she's got some chicken form of mealy bugs.
