Why I can't deadhead this particular dahlia bloom

 Big ol' pale yellow dahlia flower pretty far past its prime...

This crab spider looks REALLY ready to be a mama spider.

Her abdomen is HUGE.

So, the flower stays.

      =) If I find such a thing, I promise to fetch my camera and commence to clicking. =) I wonder when all that happens (the baby spider birthing thing).
